Instead of faking a chair with stairs and signs, you place a real chair.

Install Minecraft Forge
Download the Forge installer that matches your Minecraft version (for example 1.12.2) and run it with "Install client" selected.
Download Decocraft mod
Get the DecoCraft Mod Forge file from the download section and extract the archive if needed.
Open your mods folder
Press Win + R, type

Copy the DecoCraft .jar into the mods folder. Do not unzip the .jar itself.
Launch with Forge
Pick the Forge profile in the launcher, press Play, and look for the Decobench in your crafting recipes.
